Mediterranean food with a twist on top of the historic Bok building.

Irwin’s is an inviting neighborhood restaurant on the 8th floor of the historic Bok building in South Philadelphia. Our kitchen, led by Chef Paul Garberson, serves seasonal, soulful fare that draws inspiration from Turkey, the Mediterranean coastline and the Middle East.
The name, Irwin’s, originates from the architect of Bok, Irwin T. Catharine who was the Chief Architect for the School District from 1920 - 1937. Over his tenure, Irwin designed over 80 school buildings across Philadelphia including Masterman, Palumbo, Overbrook and of course, our beloved, Bok.
